Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Looking to start a career in emergency medical services? Our accelerated EMT course is the perfect place to start. In this comprehensive program, you will learn the skills and knowledge necessary to become a certified EMT and make a real difference in your community.

Course Description

Our EMT program is designed to prepare students to become certified Emergency Medical Technicians. Throughout the course, students will learn how to provide emergency medical care to patients in a variety of situations, including trauma, cardiac arrest, and respiratory distress. The program covers topics such as patient assessment, airway management, basic and advanced life support techniques, pharmacology, and ambulance operations. Students will also participate in hands-on training and clinical rotations in emergency departments, ambulance services, and other healthcare settings. Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification exam.

Course Requirements

Passing an assessment test. Students must bring a copy of their American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider card to the first class meeting in order to stay enrolled.
