Animal Health Care (Fall)

The following ROP course meets the UC/CSU Preparatory Elective “G” requirement. To meet UC/CSU admission requirement (“G” credit), students must complete a full year (two semesters) of the course and earn a grade of 70% or better.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Develop entry-level skills required for employment in the veterinary fi eld. Learn how to approach, handle, and properly restrain animals. Study animal behavior, nutrition, anatomy, terminology, diseases, safety and sanitation. Successful completion of this course with a grade of 70% or better required for enrollment into Animal Health Care Internship.
