The following one-year ROP course meets the UC/CSU Mathematics “c” requirement.
Develop skills fundamental to the study of computer science. This course emphasizes object-oriented programming methodology with a concentration on problem-solving, algorithm development, and the study of data structures, design and abstraction. Identify ethical and social implications for computer use.

To meet UC/CSU admission requirement (“c” credit), students must complete a full year (two semesters) of the class and earn a grade of 70% or better.
