Computer Integrated Manufacturing

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Learn about manufacturing processes, product design, robotics, and automation in this innovative and exciting industry. Develop knowledge and skills of Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing to produce products using a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) mill. The capstone project provides an opportunity to design, build, program and present a manufacturing system model capable of creating a product. To meet UC/CSU admission requirement (ā€œgā€ credit), students must complete a full year (two semesters) of the class and earn a grade of 70% or better.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of Introduction to Engineering Design.
