This is consistent with the procedures of our partner districts. If you have a student that notifies you that they would like to drop your class, please inform them that their parent needs to send the request to you or to the office.
- Before class starts: Parents/Guardians or a student who is 18 years or older will email info@coastlinerop.net to be dropped from a course before the start date.
- After class starts: Parents/Guardians or a student who is 18 years or older will email info@coastlinerop.net to be dropped from a course after the start date. Student services will inform the teacher, career specialist, and student information specialist. The student information specialist will remove the student from the roster and a PNL will be sent out.
- Students have until the 7th week to drop a course with no grade penalty. After the 7th week, a W/F will be reported to their home school. Students enrolled in accelerated courses have until 40% of the class to drop without a W/F being reported to their home school.
